Johnnie Middleton passed away peacefully at home on Saturday July 11, 2020. He was a Vietnam veteran who was loved by many. He is survived by his wife of 46 years Irene Middleton. He was preceded in death by his parents Lorander and Bonnie Middleton; brother, James Middleton. He is survived by his sisters, Linda (Paul) Sellers, Mary (Ernest) Pritchard, and Loretta Ivy; children, Alan Hughes, Debbie Kowalik, Mark (Debbie) Hughes; four grandchildren; six great grandchildren. Visitation will be from 9-11 am on Wednesday July 15, 2020 at Aly Funeral Home in Eddyville, Illinois. Graveside service will be 11:30 am on Wednesday July 15, 2020 at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery in Delwood. Military rites will be conducted by VFW Post 9227, American Legion Post 719, and ARMY National Guard Funeral Honors Team at the graveside. Additional obituary information will be added later.
