Carolyn "Eloise" (Jones) Richard

Carolyn "Eloise" (Jones) Richard, 81, of Evansville, Indiana, passed away Monday, July 13, 2020 at Heritage Center. Eloise was born in Pike County, Indiana on September 10, 1938 to the late Harold Jones and Cora (Miller) Weisheit. She loved spending time outside and making her home nice. In her free time, Eloise enjoyed doing crossword puzzles. Above all else, she cherished spending time with her family. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Eloise is survived by her daughters, Vicki Sharp of Evansville, IN and Kelly Stigelman (Charles IV) of Pennsylvania; son, Rick Howard (Linda) of Evansville, IN; brother, Neal Jones (Sandy) of Evansville, IN; grandchildren, Doug Sharp, Amy Payton, Heber Howard, Chelsea Stigelman, Perry Howard, Charles Stigelman V, and Chrystal Reinheimer; and five great-grandchildren with one more due July 17, 2020. Eloise was preceded in death by her husband, Eddie Howard; parents; sisters, Louise and Nelda Jones; brother, Kenny Jones; and grandchildren, Jimmy and Melissa Sharp. A celebration of Eloise's life will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, July 15, 2020 at Browning Funeral Home, 738 Diamond Ave., Evansville, IN 47711 with Marshall Locke of Keck Avenue Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow at Otwell Cemetery in Otwell, Indiana at 1:00 PM EST. Friends may visit from 8:00 AM until 10:00 AM on Wednesday, July 15, 2020 at the funeral home.
