 Florence McCall, 101, of Shelbyville, passed away Monday July 13, 2020 at MHP Medical Center.

  She was born November 25, 1918 in Milwaukee, WI. to George and Clara Schuett.

  She married Jerome M. (Jerry) McCall on January 22, 1942 and he preceded her in death.

  Mrs. McCall is survived by her sons, Mike McCall of South West, Missouri, Lawrence McCall of California and Dennis McCall of Alaska; 19 grandchildren, 50 great-grandchildren, 8 great-great-grandchildren, and her best friend, Rose Allen.

  She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, her son, Terry McCall, 1 brother and 1 sister.

  She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, St. Anne’s Alter Society, Daughters of Isabelle, St. Joseph Social Club, the Red Hats Society, and Shelby Senior Services Center.

  When Florence first moved to Shelbyville, she was employed as a secretary at the Police Department.  She later became a legal secretary at Brunner, Brown, and Brunner law office.  She then worked in the trust office at Fifth Third Bank and retired from there after many years of service.

  Visitation will be Friday, July 17, 2020 from 10 a.m. to Noon at Murphy-Parks Funeral Service, 703 S. Harrison Street, Shelbyville, IN 46176.

 Funeral services will follow at Noon at the funeral home with Father Mike Keucher officiating.

  Burial will be in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.

  Funeral Directors, Greg Parks, Sheila Parks, and Stuart Parks are honored to serve Mrs. McCall’s family.

  Memorial contributions may be given to Shelby Senior Services, 1504 S. Harrison Street, Shelbyville, IN 46176.
