Steven W. Shepler, 63, of Myerstown, died Sunday, July 12, 2020, at his residence. He was the husband of Ann E. (Buschi) Shepler, to whom he would have been married 18 years in August. Born in Reading, PA on October 29, 1956, he was the son of the late Victor W. and Ruth A. (Helm) Shepler. Steven was a 1974 graduate of ELCO High School. He was employed at Reading Bakery Systems, Robesonia, for 30 years, and Harnish Production Machine, Myerstown. A car enthusiast, he was a member of AACA, enjoyed drag racing, restoring cars, and riding his motorcycles. Steven is survived by a stepson, Eric Patterson, of Center Valley; sisters, Melissa, wife of Forrest O'Kelly, of Myerstown, Stacey, wife of John Klahr, of Myerstown; brothers, Terry Shepler, of Myerstown, Kevin Shepler, of Myerstown; nieces, Tara O'Kelly and Jessica Gettle; nephews, Shane Gettle and Brandon Gettle; and his dogs, Harley and Sally. He was preceded in death by a sister, Wendy Gettle. Services and inurnment will be private at the convenience of the family.
