Boyd Wayne Mullins

Mr. Boyd Wayne Mullins, 76 of Livingston, died Monday, Feb. 15, 2016 at Baptist Health Hospital in Lexington. He was born at Sand Springs in Rockcastle County, KY on Aug. 11, 1939 the son of George and Dollie Pittman Mullins. He was a farmer and was a deacon at Maple Grove Missionary Baptist Church. He enjoyed working around his church and going to auctions. He is survived by his wife of almost 57 years, Bonnie Bullock Mullins; two sons, Randy Mullins and wife, Tressa of Richmond, and Ronald Mullins and wife, Vicky of Mt. Vernon; a daughter, Kathy Powell and husband, Eddy of Livingston; two brothers, Burgess Mullins and wife, Betty and Logan Mullins, both of Mt. Vernon; and a sister, Bernice Beasley and husband, Roy of Brodhead. Also surviving are seven grandchildren, Stacy Mullins, Clayton Powell and wife Melissa, Tina McGuire and husband Stoney, Amy Wyatt and husband Quenton, Matthew Mullins and wife Sherry, Casey Powell and wife Karen, and Ashley Vetter and husband Jeremy; and 18 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Bill Mullins and Junior Mullins; three sisters, Sadie Sowder, Flora Kirby, and Faye Kirby; and two infant sisters, Doris and Cindy. Visitation: 6 PM Thursday, Feb. 18 at Maple Grove Missionary Baptist Church Funeral: 1 PM Friday, Feb. 19 at Maple Grove Missionary Baptist Church Interment: Bullock Cemetery
