Mandy Leigh Downs, 45, of Phenix City, Alabama passed away Sunday, July 12, 2020 at her home.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 18, 2020 at 11:00AM ET at First Assembly of God Church, Phenix City, Alabama.

Mandy was born May 26, 1975 in Columbus, Georgia to the late Larry Dixon and Sadie Alice Reese Thomas. She was a graduate of Columbus College (Columbus State University) with a degree in communications, using her degree while employed at Total Systems (TSYS), she was a Girl's Ministry teacher for seventeen years at First Assembly of God, enjoyed playing tennis, fishing, and her four dogs. Other than her father, she was preceded in death by her brother, Chad Dixon.

Surviving are her husband, John Lawrence Downs, mother, Sadie Thomas, and 2 half sisters, Stacey Johnson and Jamie Eastridge 

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The First Assembly of God Church, Phenix City in care of Mandy Downs and the Girl's Ministries.
