<p>Irene C. Lamontagne, 88, a lifetime resident of Lawrence passed away peacefully on Sunday May 24, 2015 at The Nevins Nursing Center in Methuen.</p> <p><br /> Irene was a member of the former Sacred Heart Parish of Lawrence. She retired from Western Electric Company/AT&T, North Andover. Irene enjoyed being with family and<br /> friends, cooking, and attending to her garden. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren.</p> <p>She is survived by her son, Kenneth L. and his wife, Donna Lamontagne of Andover; her daughter, Linda L. and her husband, Raymond McKay of S. Glastonbury, CT; her six grandchildren, Laura, Donna, Leo, and William Lamontagne and Christopher and Benjamin McKay; as well as several nieces and nephews including Michael Fortin of Lawrence. Irene is pre-deceased by her husband, Leo J. Lamontagne, and her sisters, Lillian Pellerin and Doris Fortin.<br /> <br /> Calling hours will be on Sunday May 31, 2015 from 2 to 5 PM at The Arthur J. Scott Funeral Home, 298 S. Broadway, Lawrence. Family and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass on Monday June 1 at 11:30AM in St. Augustine Church, 43 Essex St., Andover, MA. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Andover.
