Robert Wiliam Hoffman

Robert “Bob” William Hoffman, age 76, of Navarre, Florida; our beloved son, brother, husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather passed away, Friday, July 10, 2020. Bob enjoyed playing golf, hunting, fishing, riding motorcycles, watching wrestling, playing bingo and going to the casinos with his lovely wife, Beverley, and children. Bob also enjoyed spending time with his children and his grandchildren. Bob was born July 28, 1943, in Flint Michigan. He was the fourth child of fifteen born to the late Carl and Elizabeth Hoffman. He attended and graduated from the School of Hard Knocks. He served in the Army Reserves from 1960 – 1968; and he worked at Flint Road Builders in construction, and retired from General Motors. He was preceded in death by his sisters, Mary and Rita; and his brothers, Marvin, Carl (Butch), and Ray. Survived by Kenneth, Ellwyn, Leroy, Minnie, Doris, Cheryl, Veronica, Edward and Beverly. Bob is survived by his wife of 58 years, Beverley Mary Hoffman, of Navarre, Florida; four children, son, Charles (Deanna) Hoffman of Red Oak, Texas, daughter, Karen (Patrick) Hapner of Ennis, Texas, son, Gary (Mae) Hoffman of Navarre, Florida, and son, Robert (Kimberly) Hoffman of Athens, Texas, and foster parent to Scott Young; fifteen grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Viewing will be held from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 15, 2020, for family and friends to Lewis Funeral Home, Milton Chapel. Viewing will also be held 12:00 p.m. – 1:00 p.m., Thursday, July 16, 2020, at Lewis Funeral Home, Milton Chapel; Funeral Services will follow at 1:00 p.m.
