Janet (Middleton) Vickers was born September 25, 1943 in Cincinnati, OH and departed this life on Tuesday, July 26, 2016 at her residence, being 73 years of age. She was the daughter of the late Clister & Cleo (Hensley) Middleton. On August 13, 1960 Janet married Burb Vickers, whom proceeded her in death. Janet is survived by two children, Stephanie Wilson and husband Greg of Tyner and John Vickers and wife Sherrie of Tyner. She was blessed with eight grandchildren, Tiffany Day, Noah Burb Day, Chelsea Day, Blake Vickers, Braden Vickers, Brett Vickers, Alecia Wilson and Nicholas Wilson and by five great grandchildren, Eleanor, Patrick Burb, Shannon, Anderson, Lincoln, as well as another baby girl on the way and by her dog and constant companion, Jack. She was also blessed with a best friend of 55 years, Wilma Joyce Smith of London. Janet is also survived by her sister, Elenora Johnson and husband Bud of Cincinnati, OH. In addition to her parents and husband, Janet was also preceded in death by two nephews, Greg Hill and Ed Hill. Janet was a member of the #2 Blackwater Baptist Church.
