MICHAEL VERNON SHARER Newburgh, IN. – Michael Vernon Sharer, 60, of Newburgh, Indiana passed away on Thursday, July 9, 2020 at his home in Newburgh. Michael was born in Evansville, Indiana on April 24, 1960 to the late James Vernon and Ruth Emogene (Folsom) Sharer. Michael graduated from Harrison High School. He worked as Tech Support at Perry-Spencer and ran the website design company, Guy Friday for many years. He enjoyed working on computers, reading science fiction, and playing his keyboard. Michael is survived by his wife of 31 years, Cheryl Crawford of Newburgh, IN; siblings, Anita McNallin of Bedford, IN; Keith Sharer and his wife, Valerie of Boonville, IN; Leandra Wildman and her husband, Eric of Boonville, IN; Cindy Elzer and her husband, Matt of St. Louis, MO; nieces and nephews, Clay Sharer, Donovan Wahl, Dachia Sharer, Kyle Elzer, Katy Elzer, Audrey Lyell; mother-in-law, Sara Crawford; brother-in-law, David Crawford and his wife, Kathryn; two fur babies, Sophie and Meka. A memorial service will be held at 2 P.M. on Saturday, July 18, 2020 at Koehler Funeral Home, Perigo Chapel in Chandler, Indiana with Rev. Craig Duke officiating. Visitation will be from 10 A.M. until 2 P.M. on Saturday, July 18, 2020 at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Warrick County Humane Society.
