Ronald D. “Chico” Hatten, Sr., 44, was born August 31, 1975 to Barbara Hatten and Ronald Ratliff. He departed this life on July 7, 2020. He was a graduate of Howard High School, class of 1993. He was employed at Sherman and Reilly. He accepted Christ at an early age and was of the Baptist faith. Ronald was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Mary A. Scott, Cecilia Ratliff, and Bessie Davis; grandfathers, Bill Pope and Isaac Davis; great grandmother, Annie Richardson; great grandfather, Hearl Hatten. He leaves to cherish his life and precious memories, son, Ronald Demetrius, Jr.; parents, Anthony and Barbara Davis; sisters, Tomika (Ken) Dozier and Cheryl Hicks; brother, Corey (Michelle) McGraw; grandmother, Rebecca Pope; fiancée, Maria Greene; five grandchildren; three stepchildren, Nikki, Chastity, and Tristan; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many special friends. The family would like to express thanks to his co-workers at Sherman and Reilly and all his friends at Rainbow Creek Apartments. May the road rise to meet you, May the wind be always at your back, May the sun shine warm upon your face, May the rain fall soft upon your fields And until we meet again, May God hold you in the palms of His hands. “Pop” A public viewing will be held 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM, Wednesday, July 15, 2020 at the funeral home.
