VanderVoort, 57 of Stirum, North Dakota died on Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at Sanford Medical Center, Fargo, North Dakota.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;">Bill was born on July 11, 1959, the son of George and Mary (Goodman) VanderVoort in Las Vegas, Nevada. He was raised and educated in Las Vegas. Bill worked many years as a plumber in Las Vegas, until he moved to Sheldon, North Dakota in 2006. During this time, he began to share his life with Margie Holm. They eventually moved to Stirum, North Dakota in 2011 and Bill worked as the farm site manager for ND Sow Co-Op in Crete, North Dakota. He truly enjoyed working with the hogs.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;">Bill had a love for God and his country. He enjoyed ice fishing, spending time at the lake and with his children.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;">Bill is survived by his fiancé, Margie Holm; children, Bobbi and Meadow Holm all of Stirum, ND; brother, Charles VanderVoort of Las Vegas, NV; niece, Taylor VanderVoort and great nieces, Lily and Juliet all of Las Vegas, NV.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;">Bill was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Linda Kay VanderVoort.</p>Obituary
