Joseph Franklin Blasser, age 99, of Arcadia, IN passed away July 8, 2020 at Five Star Residences at Noblesville, IN.

He was born May 31, 1921 near Noblesville, IN to Charles Albert and Cleopatra (Griffin) Blasser.  His parents preceded him in death.

Mr. Blasser graduated from Westfield High School with the Class of 1939. He was a man of many skills that enabled him to work as a mechanic, welder and farmer.  He had worked for several years at Roadway Express at Indianapolis, IN.  He also enjoyed being in the great outdoors fishing, hunting and gardening.  He was a member of NRA.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister: Mary Josephine Clark and a brother: Jacob Blasser. 

Graveside services will be held Friday, July 10, 2020 at 10:30 A.M. at Crownland Cemetery in Noblesville, IN.  Memorial contributions may be to the Humane Society for Hamilton County, 1721 Pleasant Street, Noblesville, IN 46060-3621.  Arrangements are entrusted to Hartley Funeral Homes Cicero Chapel where you may send condolences at http://www.hartleyfuneralhomes.com.
