Robert Lyman White

<p>Robert (Bob) Lyman White (1950-2020), returned to his Heavenly Home on the evening of July 5, 2020. He was welcomed into this world by his proud parents Ezra Geddis and Lola Francis (Clevenger) White in Mesa, Arizona on May 28, 1950. He was the baby of the family poceeded by Ramond Geddis (deceased), Lela Mae Overson (deceased), Philden Isom (deceased), and Justin Durran White. He was raised in Mesa near his large extended family and was a 1968 Mesa High graduate. In his youth he enjoyed swimming in the nearby canals, riding horses, gymkanas, rodeo, going to Saturday movies, dancing at the Mazona, hunting in the White Mountains and following around his older brothers.</p> <p>He served a full-time mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Ohio Mission. He continued to serve faithly in many callings throughout his life including Stake High Councilor, Branch President, and Bishop.</p> <p>&nbsp;He married the love of his life, Pam Christensen on December 27, 1972 in the Mesa Arizona Temple. They were happily married for 47 years and welcomed 7 children into their lives. Together, they raised 5 of 7 children: Robert Denver, Preston Lot &amp; Lyman Geddis (both deceased at birth), Weston Wilder, Austin Andrew, Amberlyn Power, and Sterling Ansel White. He has 19 grandchildren (Austin, Korben, Savanna, Bryson, Kellen, Emmy, Preston, Griffin, Lizzie, Kaden, Joslyn, Easton, Mariah, Paxton, Vander, Houston, Audrina, Dryston and Breelyn).</p> <p>He spent his adult life living and working in the Rim Country. He will be remembered by many for his love of family, his love of his Savior Jesus Christ, and his quiet service to all those around him. He will be greatly missed by all those who knew him.</p> <p>Graveside services will be held in his honor at 10:00AM, Saturday, July 11, 2020 at Mountain Meadows Memorial Park Cemetery,Round Valley Rd., Payson, AZ.</p>
