Age 65, West Quoddy, passed away Sunday July 5, 2020 in Harbourview Lodge, Sheet Harbour. Born in Halifax on January 16, 1955, he was a son of the late Herman and Jennie (Stuart) Pottie. Harold enlisted in the army at an early age and served his country for 10 years stationed in Germany, Egypt and Trinidad; he then returned home to lobster fish for 20 years until his health prevented him. He enjoyed playing darts and woodworking. Survived by sister, Mary (Allan) Bezanson; brother, Stephen Pottie; niece, Katrina Bezanson (Jerry); nephews, Travis (Amanda)(Matthew, Megan, Mitchel), Phillip (Sarah) Pottie, Keith (Alicia); great-nieces Allison, Karsyn and Masion. Cremation has taken place, no visitation or funeral by request. A heartfelt thank you to the nursing staff at Harbourview Lodge for their care and compassion shown to Harold during his time there.
