Tom Gene Mashburn, age 70, resident of Coweta passed away on Thursday morning, November 12, 2015 at his home in Coweta, OK surrounded by his loving family. Tom was born on October 23, 1945 in Broken Arrow, OK to Chester and Verma (Welch) Mashburn. He was a 1964 graduate of Broken Arrow High School. Tom was a self-employed backhoe operator for 45 years. He and Juanita Ann (Curtis) Mashburn were married on July 10, 2007 in Benton, AR. He enjoyed race horses and drinking coffee with his friends. Tom was preceded in death by his parents. Tom is lovingly survived by his wife, Ann Mashburn of the home in Coweta, OK; 2 sons, Timothy Gene Mashburn and wife, Vicky of Cleveland, OK and Tony Dewayne Mashburn and wife, Cindy of Broken Arrow, OK; 1 brother, Danny Mashburn of Owasso, OK; 1 sister, Martha Replogle and husband, Chap of Broken Arrow, OK; 3 grandchildren, Travis Dewayne Mashburn, Haley Jane Murphy and Donavan Mashburn; 3 step-children, Jack Winters of Houston, TX, Jeff Winters of Springfield, MO and Stacy Lopez of Wagoner, OK; and several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Viewing will be from 9 AM - 8 PM on Monday, November 16, 2015 at Wright-Brown Family Funeral Home. Funeral services celebrating Tom's life will be at 2 PM on Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at Oak Grove Christian Center in Broken Arrow, OK with Pastor Bryan Hill officiating.
