<p><strong>Markow, Bruce Danny November 13, 1954 ~ July 2, 2020</strong></p> <p>It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Bruce Markow on July 2, 2020 at Gillis House in Merritt. Bruce was 65 years of age and was born in Murrayville, BC. He is survived by his father, Danny Markow, spouse, Judy Bond, daughter, Heather Markow and grandchildren, Alexander & Angela-Rose Hall as well as his siblings, Jim, Joyce, and Paul Markow. He was predeceased by his mother Emeilia Powell. A graveside service was held at the District of Lillooet Cemetery on Tuesday July 7th, 2020 at 11:00am. Casket bearers at the ceremony were Paul Markow, Ed Blair, Jerry Neufeld, Jack Neufeld, Garry Gunrack, and Levi Kukler. Bruce thoroughly enjoyed spending as much time as he could with his family and friends. He loved travelling locally with his daughter Heather, so they could stay connected with family members. Bruce’s hobbies included – camping, boating, fishing and riding his quad around on his ranch. Unfortunately, by his mid 40’s, Bruce battled with severe medical conditions for the next 25 years of his life. Bruce will be greatly missed by family and friends, but his memories will forever live on through family gatherings. Rest easy, Pooh Bear</p>November 13, 1954 - July 2, 202011/13/195407/02/2020
