John Gillom, Jr. of Trenton quietly departed this life on Thursday, July 2, 2020 at Capitol Regional Medical Center, Trenton, NJ. Born in Trenton, NJ, John was a lifelong resident. He was educated in the Trenton Public School System and graduated from Trenton Central High School. John was formerly employed by W.R. Grace in Hamilton; Trenton Board of Education, Food Services Dept., Greater Trenton Behavioral Center as a Security Guard and retired from Bradco Supply Company in 2009 due to medical issues. He was entrepreneur, He founded the Town Car Association Club and The Just Like Me Car Detailing Business. He was also known as “Hustle Man” he sold clothes, hats, pocketbooks, whatever you needed, he had it. He was loved by many and would light up the room when he walked in. John was predeceased by his father, John W. Gillom, Sr.; his mother, Clifford Lisa Gillom and his grandparents, Taylor and Lucy Gillom. His memory will be cherished and forever remembered by his wife, Princess Gardenia Gillom; son, John La‘marr Gillom, III; daughter, Ebonie Rose Gillom; grandchildren, Na’Zaya, John Lamar Gillom, IV and Johanna Gillom; two uncles, Columbus and Booker T. Blake (Mariah); several nieces and nephews and a host of cousins from Trenton, NJ, Tallahassee and Delray Beach, Florida and a special aunt and uncle, Fred and Geraldine Knox of Trenton.
