Asa L. Hill, 80, of Salisbury, MD died Thursday, July 2, 2020, at Coastal Hospice at the Lake in Salisbury MD. Born in Bivalve, MD on November 15, 1939, he was the son of the late Linden and Hannah Hill. Mr. Hill loved fishing, crabbing, and anything to do with being on the water. The Nanticoke river was his second home. He retired after working 40+ years as an off road tire service repairman at General Tire in Salisbury, MD and Wainwright’s Tire Center in Berlin, MD. He is survived by his wife, Shirley Hill of Salisbury MD; sons, Jack Hill, of Salisbury MD and Craig Hill of Newark, MD; stepson, Rick Dickson of Jacksonville AL; stepdaughter, Penny Ross of Pittsville, MD; grandchildren, Cody Hill, Brandon Hill, Mike Bellerby, Mandie Kessinger, Lyndsay Fundell, Melissa Dickson, and Diany Rodriguez; great grandchildren, Payton Kessinger, Ashton Kessinger, Graham Fundell, Norah Fundell, Mayson Henderson and Mackenzie Henderson. Additionally, he is survived by his sisters, Wanda Stubbs of Salisbury, MD and Beverly Northam of Pocomoke City, MD, several nieces, nephews and cousins and his two fur babies, Dazee and Abby. He was preceded in death by his sister, Sandra Donoway. A private service will be held at a later date.
