Robert C. “Pete” Peterson, 92, passed away July 2, 2020. Pete was born in Minnesota and moved to the Houston area when he was young.  He worked in the petrochemical industry for 30+ years and lived in the Crosby/Highlands/Baytown area. He was preceded in death by his wife Margaret Peterson and grandson, Jobey Peterson. He is survived by his children Robert C. Peterson, Jr., Cynthia Broom (Harold), David Peterson and Anne Whitaker along with grandchildren Cole Broom (Misty), Erika Ducote (Dan), Laura Peterson, Kayla Harman (Sean), Suzanne Cope (Wiley), Marisa Perez (Carlos), Kelsey Peterson, and Bailey Whitaker; also great grandchildren Ava Peterson-Campbell, Cash Broom, Hadlee Harman and Kimber Broom.

“Pop”, as everyone fondly called him, always loved a good joke and had a great sense of humor.

He will be greatly missed.  The family wishes to thank the many people that were involved in his care and who were so kind to him – Ann, Verna, Judy, Charlie, Cathline, Muriel, Helen, Veronica, Bonni, Mary, Martha and many others through the years.

Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, July 22, 2020, with funeral services following at 10:00 a.m. at Sterling White Funeral Home. Arrangements have been entrusted to Sterling White Funeral Home, 11011 Crosby-Lynchburg Rd., Highlands, Texas 77562.
