Donna Louise Bradford

Donna Louise Bradford, 63, of Willards passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Tuesday, December 4, 2018. Born in Nassawadox, VA, she was the daughter of the late John and Dot Hamilton. Donna worked for many years at Heinemann Electric, Filtronic Comtek, and most recently for HALO. She was a beloved member of the Blackwater Fellowship Church and very involved in church activities. She will be missed for her baking skills and her crocheting. Donna loved to spend time reading, playing scrabble, doing puzzles and searching for bargains at Thrift Stores. She played softball for many years and was the biggest cheerleader for her granddaughters’ games. Donna will be remembered for her natural ability to plan, organize and enjoy family events. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend. She is survived by her husband, Dennis Bradford; children, Billy Croswell and Bridget McDade and her husband, Shane; step children, Julie Owens, Dennis Bradford, Jr. and his wife, Dana and John Bradford; sister, Billye Hudson; five grandchildren; six step grandchildren and many nieces, nephews, cousins, close friends and her beloved Marleigh. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her beloved sister, Marsha Dunn and her brother in law, Wayne Hudson. A memorial service will be held on Monday, December 10, 2018 at 2 pm at Blackwater Fellowship Church, 34478 Roxanna Rd., Frankford, DE 19945. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Donna’s memory to the Blackwater Fellowship Church Memorial Fund, PO Box 549, Frankford DE 19945.
