<p>Agawam- Michael George Kamyk, 91, passed away peacefully on July 2, 2020. Michael was born in Chicopee on September 9, 1928 to the late George and Ludwika (Roback) Kamyk. Michael proudly served as a Marine Corporal during WWII. He attended Bryant College to achieve his B.S. in Accounting and American International College to earn his MBA. Mike was a non-stop kind of guy who worked endlessly on his full vegetable garden, camping, bowling candlepin, and hitting holes in ones on his favorite golf courses. He loved his children and family, and spent time with them at the ocean, one of his very favorite places. He leaves his loving children Steven Kamyk and his wife Dina of Westfield, David Kamyk and his wife Lisa of Worcester, Kevin Kamyk and his wife Sherry of Rutland Town VT, Lisa Johnson and her husband Bob of Agawam and Mary Walker and her husband Joseph of Fairfax VA, 9 grandchildren Laura, Alexandra, Christine, Courtney, Hilary Kamyk, Bobby (Emily), Michael Johnson, Michael, Ian Walker, 1 great-grandchild, Levi, brother Walter Kamyk and his wife Joan of Agawam,. He was predeceased by his loving wife Phyllis (Sieron), his son Jay Kamyk, his first wife Theresa Allaire, his brother Edward Kamyk and sister Helen Jakus. Family and friends are invited to gather Tuesday July 7, 2020 from 4-7pm in Colonial Forastiere Funeral Home, 985 Main St., Agawam MA. Services are being held privately by the family. Memorial contributions will be used to sponsor a NICU Camera at Baystate Children&rsquo;s Hospital. Levi was born prematurely and the camera provided needed comfort for the family.
