Grace A. Michael, 96, of Elon, died Thursday, July 2, 2020 at Moses Cone Hospital in Greensboro.

A native of Burlington, Mrs. Michael was the wife of the Dr. John Michael and the daughter of the late John Bynam Allred and the late Beulah Mae Buntin Allred.

Mrs. Michael was a member of Emmanuel United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Michael is survived by two daughters, Judy Gooch and her husband, Greg Gooch, of Savannah, GA, and Ellen Bowen and her husband, Robert E. Bowen, Jr. of Elon; seven grandchildren, Valerie Bowen, Christine Hall and her husband, Caleb, Robert E. Bowen III and his wife, Andrea, Stacey Yon and her husband, Benson, Caryn Blevins and her husband Joshua, Raymond Gooch and his wife, Kindra and Laura Peterson and her husband, Derek and 17 Great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Michael was preceded in death by three sisters and four brothers.

The funeral service will be held Monday, July 6, 2020 at 3:00 PM in the Rich and Thompson Chapel in Burlington. Officiating will be the Re. Greg Gooch. Entombment will take place at Alamance Memorial Park.
