Cristina Vidal, 93, of Davie, Florida was called to her Heavenly Home by Our Maker on July 2, 2020. Cristina was born in Havana on October 26, 1926 and, like many, came to this country in 1962 with her husband Raul and their three young children seeking political freedom. She was a person of moral values, integrity, and faith which she instilled in her family. She lived for her family and was pampered by all until the end. She is predeceased by her husband of 60 years and survived by her three children; Raul A. (Josefina), Cris Zitnick (Frank) and Silvia Morales (Jesus), her grandchildren Lourdes Vidal, Raul Alfonso (Gilda), Robert Morales (Margarita), Brian Stewart (Margaux), and Michael Morales (Glory), sisters Concha de la Viesca and Victoria Blanco and 10 great grandchildren. Mass of the Resurrection will be on Wednesday, July 8, 2020 10:15 am at St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church, Miami. Family has requested that in lieu of flowers donations be made in her name to St. Jude Research Hospital Memorial ID: 12069973. Rest in Peace.
