Obituary
My Mom’s heart is whole again Hi Friends, If you know anything about my mom, the one thing that she would always say in conversation is that, “there can never be another Dan”. When my dad died in April of 1997, my mom lost half her heart. Today, my mom regained that lost half of her heart by joining my father in heaven. My mom lived a wonder life of 89 years and 10 months, of course with the normal ups and downs of life with 6 kids, 12 grandkids and 16 great grandkids. She worked until the age of 84, which is incredible. The last five years of her life, she dealt with dementia. When the doctor told mom she had dementia, she responded, “this is a crappy day”. We were very fortunate that mom kept her sense of humor to the last day of her life. Her laugh was very contagious and will be missed. As mothers do, they teach you many things to remember the day they are no longer with us. My mom taught me many things and I am very thankful for those life lessons. Mom’s passing is joyous knowing she is with my dad again. I am sure they are dancing on the clouds now. My parents were great dancers and when they danced, my mom’s smile said it all. My parents had great love for one another, and it showed. I would like to thank everyone for their thoughts and prayers during my mom’s last days. It brought comfort to me.
