Verneda "Vernie" Combs, age 93, of Hazard, KY passed away on July 03, 2020 at the Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center. She was the daughter of the late Albert Gross and the late Rebecca Fugate Gross. She is also preceded in death by her husband: Billie Earl Combs; one son: Curt Combs and a host of siblings. She leaves surviving one son: Dana Combs (Brenda) of Berea, KY; one daughter: Deborah Ratliff (Donald) of Lancaster, KY; daughter-in-law: Teresa Combs of Hazard, KY; one sister: Susie Couch (Raymond) of Ohio; eight grandchildren: Jamie Combs, Stevie Combs, Chelsea Combs, Raeanne Powers, Whitley Ratliff, Joshua Ratliff, Nicole Gruen & Clinton Combs; twelve great grandchildren; four great great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, family & friends Visitation will be from 11AM-1PM Sunday July 05, 2020 at Maggard's Mtn.
