Dorothy Mae Means,91, widow of Reed Howard, passed away Friday, July 3, 2020 at Clark Regional Medical Center. She was born on February 25, 1929 in Powell County, KY to the late Raymond Curtis and the late Edna Clay Means Burgher. She was a homemaker and a member of Hill Street Pentecostal Church.  In addition to her husband she is preceded in death by brothers, James Means, Donald Means, Hartful C. Means,William Means,Clayton Means,Sebert Means,Earl Means,Sam Means,David Means and Billy Means; four step sisters, Dorothy Clem, Mary Hatton, Eva Lou Johnson and Ollie Arnette. She is survived by two daughters, Delina Sams and Elizabeth Means both of Winchester; two sons, Paul E. (Matilda) Sams of Winchester, Isaac T. Sams of Mt. Sterling; two step children, James Means(Dessie)and Margaret Ashley and one brother, Manius (Vivian) Means of Winchester. She is also survived by several grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.  Visitation will be Monday, July 6, 2020 at Scobee Funeral Home from 6-8PM .  Services will be held on Tuesday, July 7,2020 at 10AM at Scobee Funeral Home. Burial will be in Clarmont Memorial Gardens.
