Mrs. Celia Mae Bennett Lutin, affectionately known as “Mama” to many in the neighborhood. She was born August 12, 1951 in Selma, Alabama. Mrs. Lutin later settled in Mobile, Alabama. She was employed over twenty years at Mobile Nursing and Rehabilitation. Celia Mae was preceded in death by her son, Lewis Fletcher Bennett; grandson, Dannie Lee Bennett, Jr.; mother and father, Fred and Revell Hunter; father and mother -in -law, Dansby and Earlene Blair Lutin; three brothers: Lovell Bennett, Jessie Bennett and Willie (Sissy) Johnson; two sisters: Margaret (Auther) Lusain and Willie Ann McNeil. Celia Mae ’s memories will live on in the hearts of her family: her loving devoted husband of forty -seven years, Dannie Lee Lutin; four sons: James Bennett, Dannie Bennett, Frederick (Samantha) Lutin and Rodney (April) Lutin all of Mobile, AL; three sisters: Dorathy Diggs, Deborah Bennett, Gloria (Michael) Jones all of Mobile, AL; four brothers: Ernest (Carolyn) Bennett of Selma, AL, James (Eve) Bennett, Milton (Rita) Bennett of Birmingham, AL and James (Peggy) Hunter of Mobile, AL; one uncle, George (Diane) Drain of Birmingham, AL; twenty grandchildren: Fredrecka Miles, Darius Lucky, Jr., Fredrick Lutin, Ta ’Niyah Bennett, Lashawn Lutin, Devonta Bennett, Jr., Arlandria Lutin, Dallen Lucky, Savannah Lutin, Ty ’Leiaa Lucas, Jaycob Lutin, Landon Weeks, Zayla Lutin and Dax Binghin; fifteen great - grandchildren: Angel Dailey, Denium Binghin, Danye Bennett, Nylah Lutin, Devonta Bennett, Daniel Bennett, Demarcus Binghin, Manquarius Bennett, Necole Fannie Bennett, Kyndal Brown, Darius Lucky, Heaven Lewis, Tongeria Lucky, Journei Bettis, Tanita Brown, Dandrea Bennett, Damorie Bennett, Rodney Lutin, Jr., Makayla Winchester and Asiah Winchester; three sisters -in -law: Marion Hill, Brenda (Willie George) Perry, Sharlene (Carlton) Carl all of Mobile, AL; four brothers -in -law: James (Chainita) Lutin, Eric Lutin, Reginald (Ida) Lutin and Kelvin (Cynthia) Lutin all of Mobile AL; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
