Found peace on December 10th, 2015, age 81 years. Beloved husband for 59 years to Nancy (nee Sawchuk). Loving dad of Debra (Doug) Howser, Dawn (John) Zastrow, Joseph (Maria) Moro, Diana (Ken) Goane and Denise (Greg) Lindeen. Proud grandpa of Gina (Kevin) Hayes, Nicholas Howser, Angela (Jerry) Spears, Maria (Cole) Jackson, Amanda Howser, Michael (Nikki) Moro, Heather (Dan) Wesley, Joshua (Jessica) Lindeen, Alissa Moro, Katie Goane, and Marisa Lindeen. Preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Germaine and his brothers, Thomas, Albert, Robert and George. Brother-in-law of Rochelle "Cookie" and the late Genevieve Moro; Betty (the late Bill) Luke, Ronald (the late K'Ellen) Sawchuk, Gloria (Gary) Rongstad and George Sawchuk. Also survived by 9 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other family and friends. "Rock" was a paratrooper in the U.S. Army, 11th Airborne Division while serving in the Korean War and was a member of Amvets, Post 60 and American Legion Post 16, participating in their drill team. He was also a member of the Lake Lions Club and many other civic organizations. Roscoe lived his Faith by example including active participation in his church and other charitable organizations. Roscoe was respected as a significant contributor in the health insurance industry for over 40 years. He founded HMO Insurance Services, the American Business Insurance Trust and Moro Insurance Group. His agency partnered with countless agents, business associations and clients throughout the Midwest. The family would especially like to thank the loving and caring staff of Summit Woods. We would also like to express our appreciation for the care that Seasons Hospice provided in his final days. Visitation at the Funeral Home on Sunday, December 13, 2015, 1:00-3:00 PM, prayer service at 3:00 PM. Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, 10:30 AM at THE BASILICA OF ST. JOSEPHAT, 2333 So. 6th St. (Please meet at church at 10:20 AM). Interment and military honors at Holy Sepulcher Cemetery. If desired, memorials to the St. Vincent DePaul Society.
