Anna B. Monroe, 78, Walton, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 1, 2020, in her home, surrounded by the love of her family. Born January 6, 1942, in Logansport, she was the daughter of the late John Ernest and Olive Marie (Wilson) Holley. Anna married the love of her life Ralph W. Monroe on April 2, 1988. For many years, Anna worked as a home provider. As her children grew older she worked two and sometimes three jobs outside of the home to help raise them. She is survived by her loving husband, Ralph W. Monroe; three children, Holley J. (Ron) Berkshire, of Walton, Robin D. (Mark) Bryant, of Missouri, and Robert D. (Franklin) Mullett, of Walton; four step children, Rick Monroe, of Peru, Jeff (Koren)Monroe, of California, Brian Monroe, of Peru and Chad (Cory) Monroe, of Noblesville; seventeen grandchildren; thirty two great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews that filled her heart with love for many years. She loved each and everyone of her grandchildren but held an extreme bond with Aaron J. Mullett and Abbigail J Mullett Stepp. Anna was the youngest of ten children who all proceeded her in death Violet Marie Martin, Betty L. Martin, Kenneth Eugene Martin, Austin LeRoy Martin, Homer Lee Martin, Ernest John Holley, Paul F. Holley, Denny Collen Holley, and Hattie Mae Holley. A celebration of life will take place at a later date. She will be laid to rest at the foot of her parents graves.
