Ruby Hammond Myrie

Sunrise February 11,1932 Sunset July 1, 2020 Ruby was born in Colon, Republic of Panama. To William and Violet Myrie. Ruby had two brothers Raymond and Oscar who both preceeded her in death. Hugo Arcelio DeLeon passed on five years ago. Ruby migrated to the United States at am early age. She was able to make her way once corporate world. She worked for Exxon Mobil Oil Corporation and AXA Equitable Life Insurance company where she retired from both. Ruby was involved in numerous charitable foundations, also The Democratic Society and The Hispanic Latino Society. She followed the Catholic faith. She traveled the world to places such as Africa, England, Jamaica, Trinidad and Tobago, Costa Rica and Panama to name a few. Her hobbies were reaching out to friends and family via phone, catering, baking, listening to and dancing salsa. Just enjoying her life to the fullest. Ruby is survived by her granddaughter, Meesha N. DeLeon. Daughter -in-law, Dixie DeLeon, great granddaughters Mylana and Alessandra DeLeon, great grandson D'Angelo Rook and great great grandson Major DeLeon. Cousins Hortense, Aselia, Gloria and Frederick. And loving friend Pat Hartman.
