Donna Jean Rice-McKenzie

Donna Jean Rice-McKenzie, 67, of South Charleston, went to be with her Lord on Friday April 15, 2016 in her residence. She was born July 27, 1948 in Springfield, Ohio, the daughter of Kyle and Ruth (Baker) Guthrie. She was a devoted Christian and a member of Christian Worship Center in Christiansburg. Donna enjoyed scrapbooking and traveling. Survivors include her husband, Jim McKenzie; two sons, Andy Rice and Michael (Jahna) Rice; grandchildren, Danielle (Jacob) McNary, Anthony (Brittany) Rice, Sadie, Sarah, Michaela, Michael, Grayce Rice; great-grandchildren, Keegan Lins, Natalie Jarvis, Eliana Rice and Kennady McNary; brother, Gary Guthrie; sister, Patty Brubaker; brothers-in-law, Don Rice and Tom (Pam) McKenzie; sisters-in-law, Dot Brumfield and Kay Guthrie, several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, John Rice; brother, Larry Guthrie; sisters-in-law, Karen Guthrie, Linda McCoy and Virginia McKenzie; brother-in-law, Melvin Brubaker. A gathering of family and friends will be held from 6 – 8 p.m. Monday in the LITTLETON & RUE FUNERAL HOME, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday April 19, 2016 with Pastor Jim Fannin officiating. Burial will be in Myers Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in her memory to Community Mercy Hospice or Christian Worship Center, 3537 South Elm Tree Road, Christiansburg, Ohio 45389.
