Stuart Lee Rice, 77, of Casa Grande, formerly Chino Valley, AZ passed away peacefully with his loving family by his side on June 28, 2020. Stu was born on October 27, 1942 in Mansfield, PA to Thomas Captain and Helen Yvonne Rice. Stu served in the Army during Vietnam. He was a loving and kind man who will be missed by those who knew him. He is preceded in death by his parents, son; Scott Rice, and brothers; Tom Rice and Jim Osani. Survived by his significant other of 22 years, Shirley Nelson of Chino Valley, brothers, Rick La Bakis of Casa Grande, Jody Zito and Gary Zito of Chino Valley, sister, Linda Osgood of Littleton, N.C., 2 children; Sean Rice, Kelly Stuart Rice and 2 grandsons. Inurnment will take place at the Prescott National Cemetery at a later date. Heritage Casa Grande Funeral Home entrusted with the arrangements.
