Darrell Joe Eddleman, 84, of Medora, passed away at his home on Wednesday, July 1, 2020.

 

He was born July 6, 1935, in Medora, son of the late Trueman and Vinita (Dillow) Eddleman.

 

On July 1, 1952, Darrell married his wife of 68 years, Georgia Bennett, in Farmington, MO. She survives.

 

Prior to retirement, Darrell was the President of Farmers State Bank in Medora. During his life, he served on the Medora Fire Department and Medora Ambulance Service. He enjoyed hunting and trapping and was a member of the Tri County Coon Hunters Association.

 

In addition to his wife, he will be missed by his three children; Myron Eddleman, Warren Eddleman, and Angela Gisy all of Medora; six grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.

 

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Edwin Eddleman.

 

A private family funeral service will be held on Friday, July 3, 2020 at Anderson Family Funeral Home in Medora.

 

Burial will follow in Maple Lawn Cemetery.

 

Memorials may be made to the Medora Athletic Association.
