David Alan Schreiber, 76, of Leicester, passed away Saturday, November 5, 2016 at the John F. Keever Solace Center. David was born October 2, 1940 in St. Marys, PA to his late parents, Leonard and Irene Young Schreiber. Mr. Schreiber was a mechanical engineer and a retiree from Renaissance Glass. In addition to his parents, David was preceded in death by his brother, Richard Schreiber; son, Mark Schreiber. He is survived by his wife of 20 years, JoAnn Essick Schreiber; son, Michael Schreiber; step children, Harold Messer (Shannon) and Annette Franklin (Michael); step grandchildren: Michelle, Myra and Megan Franklin, Marissa, Ally and Avery Messer; brothers, Fred Schreiber (Peggy) and Tony Schreiber (Joyce); sister, Sylvia Kuna (Ted); several nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, November 9, 2016 in the Chapel of Madison Funeral Services with Pastor Ricky Wolfe officiating. Burial will follow in the Little Sandy Mush Methodist Church cemetery.
