Marie Edwards, 96, of Marshall, went home to be with our Lord, Sunday, January 15, 2017. Marie was born July 27, 1920 in Madison County to her late parents, Hilliard and Myrtle Clark. She was a retiree of Conover Glove Plant and member of Antioch Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Edwards, daughter, Judy Pauline Malone, seven brothers and sisters, grandsons, Larry Nathan Malone and Craig Waylon Ball Edwards and granddaughter Ruth Edwards. She is survived by her four children, Warren (Sue) Edwards, Buddy Edwards, Wanda Edwards Roberts and Craig Edwards, nine grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, sister, Dorothy Lea Littrell and several nieces and nephews. A Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, January 19, 2017 at the Antioch Baptist Church with Pastors Garland Rice, Gene Turner and Bud Marler officiating. Interment will follow in the church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at the funeral home.
