Obituary

The Journey Ms. Sabrina Gail Samuels was born July 4, 1968 to the late Elder Leroy and Evangelist Mary L. Samuels of Huntsville, AL. She would later move to Binghamton, NY with her family where she spent most of her childhood years. There the family attended All Saints Church of God in Christ in Elmira, NY, where she first gave her life to Christ at the age of nine. Her mother and father, along with her church family, raised her in the faith and rooted her in the Word. It would be these strong foundations that would weather the test of time. You see, Sister Samuels strayed along the way in her youth, but the seeds of faith had already been planted, so God called her back in 1998 where she rededicated her life back to Christ and received the call to minister. Some years later, she birthed the ministry of helps in 2006, Highways & Hedges Outreach, a community outreach that evangelized and met basic needs. The outreach assignment lasted four years until 2010. Now, Sister Samuels has always loved Bible Prophecy and studied it for the last 17 years, especially end times prophecy. In 2013 God once again gave her a new assignment, the prophetic end time word of warning where she warned and admonished those around her to be ready for Jesus soon return and to watch unto prayer as the end of all things is at hand. In September 2015, she was diagnosed with stage 4 ovarian cancer and battled it the last several months in faith, believing God for her healing until the end. Either way, our sister is healed and in his presence. Sister Samuels received her Bachelors degree in Business Administration from the University of Alabama, Huntsville, and later a professional certificate in ASP.NET software development in 2013 from Continuing Studies at UAH. She is survived by her only son, Dakota L. Samuels of Huntsville, AL; her two sisters, Teresa Olson and husband Charles of Toney, AL; Sharon Rich-Dragon and husband Ernst of Frederick, MD; her two aunts, Dr. Mattie Thomas and husband Malcolm and Mrs. Carrie Langford; her niece, Jessica Dean and husband Robert, and their children Robert and Aurora; her nephews, Daniel Dragon and children Sienna and Damien of Frederick, MD, Dustin Dragon of Frederick, MD, and Koen and Kristus Olson of Toney, AL, and a myriad of friends and family.
