Graveside services for Alice Faye Connolly, 81 years, of Enid, are 10:00 am, Thursday, July 2, 2020, at Memorial Park Cemetery with Pastor Ron Olson officiating. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home. Alice Faye Herber Connolly was born May 27, 1939, in Enid Oklahoma, and went to be with her Savior, Jesus Christ on June 28, 2020. She was one of 13 children born to Jake Herber and Delta Baker Herber. Alice had six brothers and six sisters and grew up in the Breckenridge area. She graduated from Garber High School. On June 18, 1958 she married the love of her life, Jimmy Dean Connolly. Together they raised 5 children. Alice sewed countless prom and special occasion dresses for her girls; and along with quilts, she also crocheted everyone afghans and blankets. She loved her family and enjoyed watching almost all forms of sports, especially baseball and softball, and was an avid Oklahoma City Thunder Fan. Alice worked in the health care industry and was employed by Garber Public Schools as the Cafeteria Manager for many years. She is survived by 4 daughters, Selena McGuire and husband Jimmy of Edmond, Ok; Shelly Connolly of Edmond, Ok; Shirley Smith and husband Sam of Enid; Alison Connolly of Garber; and Travis Connolly and wife Julie of Fairmont. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren. She will be missed dearly. She was preceded in death by her husband Jimmy, her parents, and her six sisters and six brothers.
