Mrs. Felishia Marie (Hattaway) Fluet, age 54, of Cobbtown, passed away on Sunday, September 24, 2017 at Optim Medical Center in Reidsville surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Fluet resided in Tattnall County all her life, she was born on April 11, 1963. Mrs. Fluet was a homemaker and member of Reidsville Baptist Church. In her spare time she enjoyed spending time in her garden and loving on her K-9 companion Jack.
She is preceded in death by her birth mother, Marie "Boots" Sikes; adopted parents, Mr. Red and Mrs. Evelyn Hattaway; and a son Cleo Randall James.
She is survived by her husband, George Fluet of Reidsville; daughter, Krystal Finch (Chris Hayes) of Collins; step-sons, Jake Boaen (Brittany) of Cobbtown and Cole Fluet (Caitlin) of Adrian; step-daughter, Carrie Raub (Jason) of Nevils; grandchildren, Maddox Reddish and Zachary Hayes of Collins, J.R. and Lynsey Raub of Nevils, Elizabeth and Jace Boaen of Cobbtown; birth father and step-mother, Jimmy Hattaway (Patricia) of Reidsville; brothers, Woody Hattaway (Stephaine) of Vidalia and Rodney Clifton (Bridgett) of Vidalia; sister, Lecia Burton of Lyons. Numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews also survive.
Visitation for Mrs. Fluet will be held on Tuesday evening, September 26, 2017 from 6-8p.m. at Kennedy-Brannen Funeral Homes, Cobbtown Chapel. Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday morning, September 27, 2017 at 11 a.m. from Reidsville Baptist Church with Dr. Charles Jonas officiating. Mrs. Fluet will lie in state one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in the Reidsville City Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be J.R. Raub, Jake Boaen, Daniel Fluet, Andy Lewis, Louie Spell and Cole Fluet.
Honorary Pallbearers will be the members of Local Union #96, Trevor Spell, Jason Raub, Brent Mathis and Sharon Mathis.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that remembrances be made to American Cancer Society 201 South Main Street, Statesboro, Georgia 30458.
