John "Bogey Chester Money

John 'Bogey' Money, age 82, Middlesboro, KY passed away Saturday, January 14, 2017 at Middlesboro ARH. He was born October 29, 1934 in Arthur, TN, the son of the late Thomas W. Money and Edith Carroll Money. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by five brothers and four sisters. He was a Veteran of the US Army. He retired as a brick/block mason after many years of work. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Brenda Kay Money; daughters: Glenna (Larry) Beeler and Tammy Pridemore; granddaughter, Andrea Jade Beeler; sister, Daisy Money Bolton of Knoxville, TN; brother, Billy T. Money of Laughin, NV; sister-in-law, Vickie (Bill) Houk of Bardstown, KY and a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends. Funeral service will be 8 p.m., Friday, January 20, 2017 at Shumate Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jeff Kersey and Rev. Rick Crowder officiating. Music will be provided by 30th Street Church of God Singers. Pallbearers will be Connor Griffin, Rick Crowder, Carlos Bowling, Jr., Jeffrey Poe, Rick Money, and Jeff Money. Graveside service will be 1 p.m., Saturday, January 21, 2017 at Green Hills Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends 6-8 p. m., Friday, January 20, 2017 at Shumate Funeral Home Chapel.
