Dellia Arline Rubly

Dellia Arline Rubly, age 75, of Glenwood and Wake Village, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, June 23, 2020. She was born on November 23, 1944 in Glenwood, the daughter of Ila Thomas Huggins and Della Iva McLain Huggins. She was preceded in death by her son, Russell Miller, Jr.; her parents; two brothers, Ray Huggins and James Huggins; her sister, Iva Harris; and her step-daughter, Debbie Jackson. She loved her Lord and attended Hilltop Church in Glenwood and Wake Village Baptist Church in Wake Village, Texas. She and her husband, John, pastored at Word of Faith Tabernacle in Glenwood, where they would hold Monday services. She loved to sing and be with her grandchildren. She is survived by her husband, John Rubly of Wake Village, Texas; five children and their spouses, Jeana and Patrick O’Brien of Hot Springs, Angela Dawson of Hot Springs, Johnny and Angela Miller of Texas, Joseph and Tina Miller of Lonsdale and Matthew and Shelia Patterson of Hot Springs; eight step-children and their spouses, Elaine and Joe Langley of Magnet Cove, David and Judy Rubly of Magnet Cove, James Rubly of Malvern, Kellie and Michael Watson of Texarkana, Texas, Sean Watson of Fort Worth, Texas, Art Patterson, Joy and Vince Blair and George Patterson, all of Oklahoma; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two brothers and sisters-in-law, George and Regina Huggins of Texas and Bob and Gladys Huggins of Glenwood; and her sister and brother-in-law, Clydia and Walter Seyls of Texas. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM, Saturday, June 27, 2020, in the Mount Tabor Cemetery under the direction of Davis-Smith Funeral Home, Glenwood. Visitation will be Friday, 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM, at the funeral home. Social distancing directives will be in place with no more than 50 persons at any one time in our chapel. You must avoid all physical contact and attendees 10 years of age or older must be wearing a face covering to enter Pallbearers will be Mike Dawson, Michael Maine, Russell Miller, Lance Tubberville, Chris Tubberville and James Tillery.
