Funeral services for Mrs. Martha Alexander Moore will be held Saturday at 1pm in the chapel of Stephens Funeral Home of Union. Rev. Chris Wells will be officiating. Burial will follow in Duffee Baptist Church cemetery.

Mrs. Moore, 76, of Little Rock, passed away at Specialty Hospital of Meridian on Wednesday, December 25th.

She served as store manager for Bill’s Dollar Store and in several other office manager positions.

Mrs. Moore enjoyed telling jokes with her dry, witty sense of humor. She also enjoyed tending to plants and flowers in her garden. Mrs. Moore had numerous bird feeders in her yard and enjoyed watching birds come to the feeders. She exhibited her strong faith in God and was a member of Duffee Baptist Church.

Mrs. Moore is survived by her daughters Charlene Ouimette and Lisa Griffin (William); grandson Alexander Moore; sisters Inez Robinson, Audrey Strange, Lyndol Ivy; sister in law Frances Alexander and several beloved nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents Lacy and Mollie Alexander; husband Charles L. Moore; brothers Wyndol Alexander, Victor Alexander, William Alexander; sisters Bernice Huddleston, Daree Kilpatrick, Shirley Johnson and Helen Alexander.
