Duane "Dewey" Eggebraaten
<p style="text-align: justify;">Duane Eggebraaten of Granite Falls passed away Sunday, October 13, 2019 at the St. Cloud Hospital at the age of 65.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;">Memorial services will be held Thursday, October 17, 2019 at 10:00 AM at Anderson-TeBeest Funeral Home of Granite Falls, and burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;">Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the funeral home on Thursday.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;">Duane Leslie Eggebraaten was born March 13, 1954 in Granite Falls, MN to Sig and Myrtle (Burns) Eggebraaten. Duane graduated from Maynard High School in 1972. After High School he attended and graduated from Granite Falls Tech and Alexandria Tech. Duane enjoyed motorcycle trips, Canadian fishing trips, hunting, and sparring with his nieces about the Minnesota Vikings. Duane worked as a car salesman in the Sauk Centre and Morris areas until he opened his own dealership which he operated for over 30 years.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;">He is survived by the love of his life Cynthia Hanson; sisters, Janet Krake and Donna Vosika Thoma (Jim); nieces, Debbie (Aaron) Ardoff, Linda (Doug) Dietz, Lisa Vosika (John Petron), Susan (Scott) Westberg, Nancy Vosika; 3 great-nieces; 3 great-nephews; and special family, Steve, Traci, Kinsley, and Landon Serreyn.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;">Duane was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Joyce Winterfeld; 3 brothers-in-law, Kenneth Winterfeld, Morry Krake, and Bob Vosika.</p> <p style="text-align: justify;">Duane was a kind and gentle soul that will be missed by many.<br /> </p>Obituary
