Edna Myra Rogers

Edna Myra Rogers, age 86 of Decherd, passed away on Thursday, June 18, 2020 at NHC in Tullahoma. She was born in Flint, Michigan on July 10, 1933 to the late Fred and Pearl Ivy (Stewart) Newman. A devoted homemaker, Edna enjoyed sewing, growing roses, and shopping. She was a dedicated member of Winchester Church of Christ. In addition to her parents, Edna was preceded in death by her son, Johnnie Rogers Jr; sister, Jean Wolfe; and brother-in-law, Leo Wolfe. She is survived by her loving husband of over seventy years, Johnnie W. Rogers of Decherd; sons, Tom Rogers of Estill Springs, Tim Rogers of Estill Springs, Terry (Carrie) Rogers of Winchester, and Steve (Denise) Rogers of Flint, Michigan; grandchildren, Lisa Rogers, Kelley Rogers, Jennifer Rogers, Brent Rogers, Adam Rogers, T.J. Rogers, Chloe Wilson, and David Rogers; and several great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 5-6:30 pm on Saturday, June 20, 2020 at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home.
