1947 – 2020

Joseph Albert Landry of Augusta Terrace, Moncton, NB passed away peacefully at the Moncton Hospital Wednesday, June 17th. His high school sweetheart and wife of 54 years was by his side. Born in Minto, NB, the son of the late Albert Joseph Landry of Cap Pele, NB and Rita (Boudreau) Landry Fasquel,.

Joe was an entrepreneur who founded many small businesses here in Moncton. He later went on to be a National VP of Marketing in the HVAC industry for over 20 years. He spoke fondly of colleagues and customers he was privileged to work with and meet through his travels and career.

Joe gave regular donations and his time to numerous charities and causes. He loved animals and children. He was always there for anyone in need. Joe was a charter member and former president of the Magnetic Hill Lions Club.

He leaves to grieve his loss; his wife Geneva (Petitpas) Landry, his sons Brian Landry (Joanne) and Mark Landry both of Moncton, his granddaughters Nicole (Brad) Frazee of Lutes Mountain and Courtney (John) Mullin of Petticodiac, grandsons Chad and Jamie Landry, his brothers Alphie (Arline) Landry, Willie (Paula) Fasquel and sister, Marie (Colin) Lowther, many nieces, nephews and extended family members and friends of the family.

He is predeceased by both his parents and step father Angus Fasquel, infant sister Leonie, sister Eva (the late Allison) Steeves and his nephew Glen Steeves. 

Because of COVID 19, a private family funeral will be held at St. Augustine's Catholic Church in Moncton, NB. Donations can be made in Joseph's name directly to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Canadian Diabetes Association,  Parkinsons Canada or to a charity of your choice.
