Allen Everett Charlton Obituary

Charlton, Allen Everett Charlton of Hoyt, NB, passed away on June 15, 2020. Allen was born in Fredericton Junction, NB on May 11, 1949 to the late Winona (Campbell) and Ross Charlton.  He will be dearly missed by his longterm girlfriend Debbie Shamper.

Allen was a truck driver for 30 plus years hauling chips, not the kind you eat but for a man whose nickname was “Pepsi” it was appropriate.  In his spare time, he could be found at the local fishing hole, fixing old cars or in his garden.

Allen was survived by a son Everett Charlton, two daughters; Marie Charlton and Patricia Charlton, three sisters; Minnie, Marilyn, Christin, six grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and many other family members.

Besides his parents, Allen was predeceased by two sisters; Viola Webb and Winona O’Donnell, four brothers; Melburn, Ross, Amos and Emery.

Relatives and friends are invited to Sunbury Funeral Home Thursday June 18, 2020 from 2-4pm.  A private family service will take place at a later date.  During COVID 19, we are unable to accept donations but you may express your sympathy by making a donation in Allen’s name directly to the Canadian Cancer Association or a charity of your choice.

Arrangements are in the professional care of Sunbury Funeral Home, Central Blissville, NB (368-2413).Online Condolences: sunburyfuneralhome.com
