<p>The moment has come and the Majestic Funeral Home Family has been given the solemn duty to announce that Mr. David Garfield Burney&nbsp;is no longer troubled with the cares of this world but he is now resting among the Heavenly Host. Mr. Burney&nbsp;began his life of everlasting peace on Saturday, June 6, 2020 at Columbus Regional Medical Center in Whiteville, NC.</p> <p>Celebration of Life services honoring Mr. Burney&rsquo;s legacy will begin on Saturday, June 27, 2020 at 3pm at Majestic Funeral Home Chapel in Elizabethtown,&nbsp;NC.&nbsp; During this time, family and friends can remember better days with Mr. David&nbsp;while relying on their faith to get them through this difficult time.&nbsp;However, the Master promised to give them comfort knowing that David&nbsp;is sitting around the Throne&nbsp;never to deal with life&rsquo;s fitful fevers again.</p> <p>The Compassionate Professionals of&nbsp;Majestic Funeral Home are serving&nbsp;the Burney&nbsp;and connected families with uncompromising dignity.</p>

Mr. Burney began his life of everlasting peace on Saturday, June 6, 2020 at Columbus Regional Medical Center in Whiteville, NC.

Celebration of Life services honoring Mr. Burney’s legacy will begin on Saturday, June 27, 2020 at 3pm at Majestic Funeral Home Chapel in Elizabethtown, NC.  During this time, family and friends can remember better days with Mr. David while relying on their faith to get them through this difficult time. However, the Master promised to give them comfort knowing that David is sitting around the Throne never to deal with life’s fitful fevers again.
