Carolyn Sue Weck

Carolyn Sue Weck, age 73, of Mattoon passed away at 10:45 a.m. on June 6, 2020 at her residence. Graveside services honoring her life will begin at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, June 17, 2020 at Beals Cemetery. Schilling Funeral Home is assisting the family. Carolyn was born on August 12, 1946 in Mattoon the daughter of Harlan and Norma (Edwards) Zike. She married Jerry Weck on October 31,1981. He survives. Other survivors include her son; Anthony (Rose Marie) Keefe, grandchildren; Jonathan Keefe, Jeremy Kohler, Natasha (Cyrus) Bardsley, Brittany (Jeremy) Helmuth, brother; Bill (Nancy) Zike, nephew; Philip Zike. Carolyn was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Lonnie Zike. Carolyn worked for many years in her long-time family owned and operated business. She enjoyed her time spent mowing. Carolyn was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses for 49 years and loved everyone. She was loved by all those around her and will be greatly missed. Memorial donations in her honor may be given to the Coles County Animal Shelter or Lincolnland Hospice.
