Thomas Eugene Reno Obituary

THOMAS EUGENE RENO, age 78, passed away on Saturday, June 6, 2020 at the Lakeland Regional Medical Center in Lakeland, Florida after a brief illness. 

He was born on February 13, 1942 in Chillicothe, Ohio to Charles Lloyd and Marguerite (Anders) Reno.  He retired from the Ohio Department of Corrections in London where he worked in the commissary for many years. He graduated from the Circleville Bible College and spent almost a decade pastoring.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his beloved daughter, Dianna Michelle “Miki” Reno in February 2016 after a brave four-year battle with breast cancer.

He is survived by three sons, Greg (Karen) Reno, Gary (Linda) Reno, and Kerry (Beth) Reno; six grandchildren, Brad (Sarah) Reno, Kaitlyn (Abbas) Shah, Adam (Natasha) Reno, Lauren (Bruce) Reno, Amanda (Shaun Johnson) Stover, Kelsey (Matt) Ball; six great-grandchildren; brother, Tim (Josie) Reno of Columbus; and three sisters, Susan (Rick) Hughes of London, OH, Brenda (Joe) DeCapua of Sanibel, FL, and Carol (Bill) Stump of Palo Alta, CA. Also surviving are several nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.

The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 16, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. at the Summers Funeral Home, 223 W. Market St., Washington CH, OH 43160 with Pastor Bruce Sigman officiating with burial to follow at the South Solon Cemetery. Family and friends may visit at the funeral home on Tuesday morning from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service.
