Lila was involved in an automobile accident on I-84 near the Oregon border on June 6, 2020. Both driver and passenger were ejected and killed upon impact. Lila was born August 6, 1959 in Greeley Colorado. She moved with her parents Eugene & Della Daniel/Jenkins to Idaho in September 1959. She lived in Vancouver, WA & Garden Valley, ID, most of her adult life. Lila was a high school graduate of Boise High School in 1977. She had many jobs in her life. She was a baker& cake decorator in Boise and Vancouver. She made wedding cakes for friends at her home. This was her hobby. Her main occupation was working as a flagger for the highway department in Idaho, for many years. She is survived by four children, one son, one son in law, and three daughters. Harley Preston Daniel of Colorado Springs, CO, Nicole Amelia Lewis of Knoxville, TN, Kera Lynne & husband Usmon Mahmood of Ontario, Canada, and Rachel Adele Roberts of Lowman, Idaho. She had seven grandchildren and was expecting the eighth grandchild in October 2020. They are: Maleah Ardella Mae, Preston Eugene, Amelia Jeane, Jeremiah Brian, Zala Gizelle, Rizwan, and Suheb. Her mother Della Jenkins of Nampa, ID and four sisters and two borther in laws: Leanna Daniel, Lela and John Bickford, Lovena and Grant Chaput, and Jeannie Daniel. Also one step-brother and two step-sisters: Bill Jenkins of Vancouver, WA, Carol Stone and Lynn Holcomb of Melba, ID. Lila has several nieces and nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins, and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her father Eugene Daniel, and her step-father Dr. Robert D. Jenkins, paternal grandparents Dorin and Katie Daniel, and maternal grandparents John and Alice Speer. She was a loving mother and a compassionate friend. She would do anything for anybody and loved everyone dearly. Lila was living with her mother as a caregiver in Nampa, Idaho at the time of her death. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
